Editing venues requires the Edit Venues permission.
Creating a venue
- On your computer, open the Admin Console.
- In the navigation panel on the left, click Venues.
- Click on New Venue.
- Enter the name for the venue, if possible select the autofilled recommendation from Spirit. Spirit will then attempt to complete the address field and geo-locate the venue.
- If Spirit could not find the venue by name, enter the address below the name and click Search. Spirit will then geo-locate the venue from the address.
- Use the white circles in the blue check-in circle to outline the venue. People must be inside this circle to checkin to an event.
- Click Create.
Editing a venue
If you edit a venue, all events that have the venue as their location will be updated.
- On your computer, open the Admin Console.
- In the navigation panel on the left, click Venues.
- Click on the venue you would like to edit.
- Edit the venue information.
- Click Save.
Deleting a venue
If you delete a venue, it will no longer be available to select when creating new events. Any existing events with the venue set as the location will keep the deleted venue information.
- On your computer, open the Admin Console.
- In the navigation panel on the left, click Venues.
- Click on the venue you would like to delete.
- Click Delete.
