Managing payment methods

Spirit accepts Visa, Mastercard/Maestro, American Express, Discover, and ACH Debit (E-Checks). Your payment method will be auto-charged in accordance with your Spirit subscription.

While not required to, you may have multiple payment methods on your Spirit account. This ensures continuity of your Spirit service if one payment method fails. Your primary method will be charged first, and then if that fails, Spirit will attempt to charge your other payment methods one by one.

 

Heads up

Editing payment methods requires the Edit Org Settings and Billing Info permission.

 

Adding a credit/debit card

  1. On your computer, open the Admin Console.
  2. In the navigation panel on the left, click Settings.
  3. Under the Billing header, click Payment Methods.
  4. Click + Add new payment method and select Credit Card.
  5. Enter the card information.
  6. If you would like this to be your default payment method, check the Make this my default payment method box.
  7. Click Add Method.

 

Adding an e-check (ACH Debit)

  1. On your computer, open the Admin Console.
  2. In the navigation panel on the left, click Settings.
  3. Under the Billing header, click Payment Methods.
  4. Click + Add new payment method and select Bank Account.
  5. Enter the bank account information. You can find this information by logging into your online banking account (with some institutions) or you can locate the information from a check.

  6. If you would like this to be your default payment method, check the Make this my default payment method box.
  7. Click Add Method.

 

Changing your primary payment method

Changing your primary payment method, will only change the payment priority. It will not delete the old primary payment method.

  1. On your computer, open the Admin Console.
  2. In the navigation panel on the left, click Settings.
  3. Under the Billing header, click Payment Methods.
  4. Next to the preferred payment method, click Make Default.

 

Deleting a payment method

You must have one payment method on file at all times for accounts with active subscriptions.

  1. On your computer, open the Admin Console.
  2. In the navigation panel on the left, click Settings.
  3. Under the Billing header, click Payment Methods.
  4. Next to the payment method you would like to delete, click Delete.
