You can use tags to segment your events and make them easier to find (You can think of an event tag almost like a hashtag.) Tags also help Spirit suggest similar events to users on the Today view. Once you have created a tag, it's available to add to events. For help adding a tag to an event, check out this article.

Heads up

Editing tags requires the Change Settings permission.

Creating Tags

When you create an event tag it becomes available to everyone in the organization.

  1. On your computer, open the Admin Console.
  2. In the navigation panel on the left, click Settings.
  3. Under the Events header, click on Tags.
  4. Click on + New Tag.
  5. Enter a name for your tag, then click Create.

Renaming Tags

  1. On your computer, open the Admin Console.
  2. In the navigation panel on the left, click Settings.
  3. Under the Events header, click on Tags.
  4. Click on the tag you would like to rename.
  5. Enter a new name for your tag, then click Save.

Archiving Tags

Archiving an event tag will make it unavailable for any new events and search. Any existing events will retain the tag for analytics and suggestion purposes.

  1. On your computer, open the Admin Console.
  2. In the navigation panel on the left, click Settings.
  3. Under the Events header, click on Tags.
  4. Click on the tag you would like to archive.
  5. Click on Archive.
